Shelter Rental

Both Glen Park and Hoffman Park have shelter buildings that can be reserved. The enclosed shelters will be unlocked for reserved times. A reservation calendar is posted on the open shelters. If there are no reservations, the open air shelters are available for free on a first come, first served basis. A fee and/or damage charge will be added if a breakage occurs or if the shelter is not cleaned. Please give a two week notice for cancellation. There is a $5 cancellation fee.

Reservations (for the current calendar year only) are made through the Parks and Recreation office. Please email or call 715-425-0924. Payment is appreciated within one week of making the reservation; call with a card number or pay by cash or check at City Hall.

The Glen Park enclosed shelter building will be closed for 2019, as a new pavilion / storm shelter is being built.

Hoffman Park enclosed shelters have a sink, counter space, and outlets. Open shelters have electrical outlets. 

Glassware is not allowed in the parks.

Non-resident rates are $10 higher than City resident rates.

Severe Weather Emergency

In case of severe weather emergency, the general public must be allowed to enter a storm shelter even when it is reserved by a private party.

Alcohol Policies

Alcohol is allowed in Glen Park and Hoffman Park. If your gathering is having a keg or another large container, please complete a keg form and return it to the Parks and Recreation Department. A $50 deposit will be required. Glassware is prohibited in the parks.

Softball Fields & Volleyball Courts

There is no fee to reserve a field or court. If lights are needed, there is a $10 per hour charge. If there are no reservations, fields/courts are available on a first come, first serve basis. Fields and courts may be reserved by calling Cindi at 715-426-3420.
