Scholarships available for the 2013 Better Building Better Business Conference
The Better Buildings Better Business Conference brings leaders of the residential building community together for 2 ½ days of sessions and networking in Wisconsin Dells. This conference connects technical strategies for building and remodeling homes with business strategies to help you succeed.

POWERful Choices! is offering two scholarships to the Conference at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells on March 6 - 8, 2013. One scholarship is for a local building contractor and the other if for a Chippewa Valley Technical College student enrolled in the Residential Construction program.  The scholarship will cover the conference registration fee and two nights stay at the Kalahari. To apply, complete and return either the contractor or student application.

River Falls High School Scholarships
High school seniors looking for an outlet for their writing creativity could generate cash for their continuing education.

Each year, River Falls Municipal Utilities, along with our power supplier WPPI Energy, offers high school scholarships and a lineworker training scholarship to high school seniors.

The scholarship program materials will be available in the fall by contacting the high school guidance office. The deadline is the local scholarship deadline. Award recipients will be notified in May.

River Falls Municipal Utilities is proud to help in the educational efforts of our community’s youth. Through this scholarship program, we have helped local students with their continuing education. Winners must have a parent who is a River Falls Municipal Utilities customer and are not receiving scholarships from any other source.
