Community Development Grant Received

River Falls Municipal Utilities recently received a $2,500 grant from our community’s power supplier to assist with an Economic Development Feasibility study.

A new initiative offered by Wisconsin Public Power Inc., the Community Development Grant program was created to provide assistance with community development projects in WPPI member communities.

The grant will help fund an incubator location feasibility study and strategic plan. This phase of the study will define the type of biotech/high-tech incubator that the River Falls Economic Development Corp. might consider starting in River Falls.
