Employee Earns Journey Status
River Falls Municipal Utilities employee Dan Triechel recently graduated from a four-year indentured linerepairer apprentice program offered through Chippewa Valley Technical College. Triechel was one of 29 apprentices from utilities around the state who recently completed apprenticeships through the program. As an apprentice, Triechel completed 640 hours of related training and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training to achieve his status as a journey electric lineworker. “We congratulate Dan on the completion of his apprenticeship,” said River Falls Municipal Utilities General Manager Carl Gaulke. “The invaluable training and knowledge he has received will help him perform highly skilled work on our community’s high-voltage electric distribution system.” |
