Downtown Design Review Committee
The Downtown Design Review Committee'spurpose is to review public and private development proposed within the Downtown Overlay District to ensure the project meets the intent of the Downtown Design Plan.
Meetings are held the second Monday of the month, as needed. They are open to the public and are held at City Hall.
Business Improvement District
Established in 1989 The River Falls Main Street Business Improvement District (BID) is charged with helping the River Falls Main Street business community with façade improvements, signage and beautification projects. The objective of the BID is to encourage business improvement and development by offering façade and sign grants to businesses and property owners in the River Falls downtown BID District.
The BID also supports the following projects with help from many dedicated volunteers:
Second Street Gardens
Main Street and Maple Street Hanging Flower Baskets
Additional Garbage receptacles
Main Street Banners
Main Street Benches
River Falls Mural Project
