Battery Recycling
Coppertop, alkaline, carbon zinc, and reusable alkaline manganese batteries can be placed in the trash. All other batteries should be properly disposed of at a recycling center, such as the Pierce County Recycling Center (707 N Maple Street, Ellsworth, WI, 54011), which accepts batteries for a fee.
