River Falls Municipal Utilities has several convenient ways to pay your utility bill.

Auto Pay - Monthly Payments on the Due Date

Automatic monthly deduction is available through Auto Pay, where you can sign up to have your monthly utility payment automatically withdrawn from your checking account or paid with your credit/debit card* on the due date of each month’s bill.

Auto Pay is dependable, convenient, and easy: no checks to write, no postage to pay, and no dates to remember. You will still receive a bill every month so you can track the amount of your bill and stay up to date on any news being shared by the utility. Auto Pay is easy to sign up for and easy to cancel.

One-Time Payments* - Online

Click here to access MyAccount, where you can set up an account to view and pay your bill online. Call the Utility office at 715-425-0906 during regular business hours, or email rfmu@rfcity.org, if assistance is needed when signing up for an account and logging on for the first time.

One-Time Payments* - by Phone

Call 877-885-7968 (24/hrs., 7/days a week). You will need your RFMU account number (located at the upper right-hand side of your bill) and payment information (credit/debit card or e-check information).

Pay at City Hall 

Customers can make payments using checks or money orders in the parking lot drop box, located at 222 Lewis Street, at any time.

Customers can pay in-person at the Customer Service counter Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, a self-service, bill-pay station, where you can also pay in cash, is available in the vestibule between our main doors. Self-service bill-pay station hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Park in the upper lot off Lewis Street.)

*NOTICE: If you pay with a credit/debit card, a processing fee of 2.75% of your payment amount will be charged to you by Payment Service Network (PSN). Transactions under $100 will be charged 2.75% plus $.50, and transactions where you select to speak to a live operator will receive an additional $2.95 charge. If you pay via e-check, you will not receive a processing fee; however, you are subject to the additional live operator charge.
