The City of River Falls is required to comply with Wisconsin State Statutes regarding the purchase of goods and services, as well as the City’s purchasing policy. In general, for projects less than $25,000, competitive quotes are obtained. For most projects in excess of $25,000, formal bids are required. Projects requiring formal bids or proposals will be listed on this site with contact and response information.

City Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

The City periodically publishes requests for proposals/qualifications for various city services. All current and past requests can be found here.

Current Published Requests for Proposals/Qualifications:

  • Shared-Ride Taxi - Proposals due by August 30, 2019, at 4 p.m.

The City is soliciting proposals for shared-ride taxi services beginning January 1, 2020. Since 1985, the shared-ride service has been an integral part of the transportation service to the area’s senior citizens, disabled persons, and general public. Approximately 33,000 trips are provided per year with service offered up to five miles outside the city limits. The City partners with both Pierce and St. Croix counties to provide low cost transportation to the public.
